Mystery Shopper: Pets at Home Harlow

As with most Pets at Home stores, on entering, customers are greeted with a comprehensive range of products dedicated to the companion animal sector combined with a clear store layout offering easy identification of products. This is certainly true of Pets at Home, Harlow which offers products for cats, dogs, rabbits, gerbils and fish.

The Harlow store is well laid out with wide aisles making the store easy to navigate and browse without “getting in the way of other customers” says our Mystery Shopper. Dedicated pet nutrition and dietary products are in abundance, as well as pet clothing for those customers wanting to ensure their pet is the best dressed in the park. At the back of the store, Companion Care, the veterinary arm of Pets at Home is available for customers with a variety of needs including neutering, vaccinations and microchipping of pets as well as advice and prescription of POM-V products.

“It was useful to come to a store which offered a range of services under one roof,” says our Mystery Shopper, “I ended up purchasing some dog food as well as arranging for my dog to be neutered,” she continued.

Store staff are very welcoming with a friendly smile for all their customers, both young and old alike. The Mystery Shopper was particularly impressed with the level of staff knowledge and their eagerness to offer the best product for their customers.

“There are enough staff around the store ready to help if needed, but at the same time it doesn’t feel that you can’t simply browse around,” she said.
