Mystery Shopper: Frontier Sandy

Frontier’s Country Store in Sandy, Bedfordshire, provides customers with a bright and modern shopping experience, according to the OvertheCounter Mystery Shopper It is housed in a bright, airy building that is attached to the agricultural inputs and advice company’s newly built regional office.

Parking was easy and, inside the store, the Mystery Shopper found stock well laid out and clearly signposted. He was particularly impressed by a board highlighting all the feed the store supplies, with prices and bag sizes. There is also a board for customers to put up messages, goods for sale, and other announcements, which he felt is a good way to engage customers.

A large part of the store caters for horse owners, but there are also good pet and country clothing sections. Supplies for livestock are limited, although an enquiry to staff established that the store could help the Mystery Shopper set up a small sheep flock. The store does not stock animal medicines, but again staff were happy to give details of where they could be obtained locally.
